Barnhart-Reese has completed construction of the Student Services and Administrative Building for the San Elijo Campus of MiraCosta College. The new facility replaces the existing Administration Building and consolidates key student services into a single location.
The new 10,770 square foot Student Services and Administrative Building provides administrative offices and meeting spaces to improve the ability of staff to serve the student body, as well as gathering and socialization spaces. Programs and services to be housed in the new building include Admission & Records, Financial Aid, and Counseling. Offices for the campus administration are also be included.
The building’s facade complements the exposed bluff faces surrounding the campus, using split-face concrete blocks to mimic the texture of the bluffs. An art walk will be located in the building arcade, featuring student murals on interchangeable wall-mounted panels.
